Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. In her career she has had 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist, she also has won at the US Open of 2019 as well as her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. In the end, she won the Sunshine Double was achieved by Elise Mertens and her in the year 2019. Together, they won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. Women's doubles only had four teams achieve this feat. The Belarusian rose from second place to third in singles world rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her highest rank was again achieved in January 2023. That same year she took home the title in Melbourne in the following year, and then went to the top spot on the planet in doubles. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019, and also in the portion of the early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods between August 2020 and September. From the beginning of 2020 she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely being followed by Maria Sharapova.
